Digital library is a kind of library in which the collections are stored in digital format and the user should use computer or other digital devices to retrieve the information. This type of library has its own librarian and can hold tons of information without occupying the space or even worrying about the very sensitive conditions that special kind of the books should be kept at like temperature, humidity, etc. the information in these libraries can be kept locally via intranet or internationally via the use of internet. The Digital libraries can save lots of money and lots of natural resources like trees in going paperless. Digital libraries are very useful, but still I love to touch the paper and feel the reading materials in their physical form.
